This year WSOP 2006 has experienced some tremendous action. Almost every Poker enthusiast has made remarkable efforts to qualify for WSOP and the satellite events in an attempt to bring home the bracelet and give a positive thrust to their public relations. Following the footsteps of Chris Moneymaker who qualified in 2003 and Greg Raymer who qualified in 2004, many have had their share of experience qualifying for WSOP.
There have been many offers from the various Poker sites to their players to be victorious in the satellite tournaments so that they could qualify for WSOP, both offline and online. The 2 main offers made this time are:
Multi table tournament offers At Pacific Poker, the Multi Table Tournaments are pre-Scheduled. These tournaments are open for all. You need to get registered with a tournament before its scheduled time. There is no limit to the number of participants or tables in a Multi Table Tournament at Pacific Poker. Pacific Poker Members are privileged to pay only in one Poker Tournament at a time.
Another Poker site which faces severe competition is Poker Room. Poker Room possesses fast software. Such is the speed of the software that it makes the tournament structure seem quite brilliant. Poker Room's software is known for pumping out hands faster than most of the other sites. The combination of these two aspects, tremendous competition and fast software, makes Poker Room's Multi Table Tournaments very profitable for expert players as they can reap benefits by exploiting some of the weak players. However, there is one thing that Poker Room lacks and that is number of tournaments.
